I remember meeting Doug at the 2005 NAMM show in LA, after watching him play as a literal “one man band”, playing his six-string bass along with a high-hat. To say the crowd was impressed would be quite the understatement. In a rarity for the station, I’m playing nearly the entirety of his debut album.
