Mo Lefever gets her groove out on her latest disc, “Unposed”. The disc is a collection of funky originals and re-interpretations of tunes by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Miles Davids, Don & Neneh Cherry and others. FusionGroovin is happy to include three tracks from the disc, which you can buy at CD Baby.

On their self-titled disc, the duo of the recently departed Scotty Hall on guitars, and Phil Robertson on drums and keyboards, produce track after track of high energy jazz-rock fusion. Sonic diversity looms large, with an intensity and sound not unlike some of Jeff Beck’s more recent work. I’m adding three tracks from the disc. Check out Rez at www.e-rez.net.
FusionGroovin extends our condolences to the family and friends of Scotty Hall.
I’m adding six tracks off this fantastic collaboration. Featuring Rob Wasserman on 6-string upright bass, Craig Erickson on guitars, T Lavitz on keyboards and Jeff “AptQ258″ Sipe on drums. Check out the “cosmic” theme in the disc’s artwork and track names… I’m sure the playing on this disc could leave some pretty interesting crop circles wherever these guys chose to put them. Raw, punchy and soulful stuff.
Ten thousand seven hundred what?!

Is there a “Poster Child of FusionGroovin” award? If there was, Van Davis’ disc, “Have You Seen This Band” might just be the first recipient. Now there’s no Van Davis in the band… “Van” and “Davis” stand for Van Halen and Miles Davis, respectively. Let your imagination run, but let it run into some really funky place along the way. Make sure to catch their rendition of Project Z’s “Augusta’s Ankle”, recorded live. Absolutely smokin’ fusion, with a groove!
